Festival of the Future: Experience new technologies

The community platform 1E9 hosted its Festival of the Future for four days. At the Forum of the Future, visitors could discuss ideas and technologies for a better future with researchers, startups, founders, investors, and artists.

The festival's program was impressive: almost 280 speakers in around 200 lectures, workshops, and discussions, plus live music, art, performances, and a 1,000-square-meter exhibition. "Even though we live in a world full of crises and challenges, an incredible number of people are working on solutions for a better future," said Wolfgang Kerler from 1E9 at the official opening. An important goal of the event is to make the new, complex technologies accessible and tangible, thereby reducing reservations and closing knowledge gaps. This is entirely in keeping with the spirit of the founder of the Deutsches Museum, Oskar von Miller, confirmed the director of the Forum of the Future, Simon Glöcklhofer. (Photo: Munich Startup)
