Supernutural wins the Bavarian Export Prize 2022

The Munich-based company Supernutural was awarded in the 'Land of Delight' category at this year's Bavarian Export Prize.

The Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, together with the Association of Bavarian Chambers of Industry and Commerce, the Association of Bavarian Chambers of Skilled Crafts, and Bavaria International, awarded the Bavarian Export Prize to medium-sized enterprises. This prize recognizes small and medium-sized enterprises with up to 100 full-time employees that are successfully active in foreign markets. The award is intended to help raise the profile of these small and medium-sized enterprises. The Bavarian Export Prize is awarded in four categories: Industry, Skilled Crafts, Services, and Gourmet Land. This year, Supernutural from Munich impressed the jury in the latter category.

Supernutural has developed a machine for producing freshly pressed nut butter. The nut butter machine is sold worldwide to B2B customers such as supermarkets, hotels, delicatessens, and professional sports clubs. According to the company, nut butter made from Supernutural machines is now available in more than 20 countries around the world.

Team spirit vs. crises

Chamber of Commerce and Industry Managing Director Manfred Gößl comments on the Supernutural award as follows:

"It's always impressive how small companies from our region achieve great global success with their products. This year's export award winners are overcoming the cumulative burden of crises with a very special passion for performance, team spirit, perseverance, and innovative strength."

The company, founded in 2015 by Timo and Amelie Sperber, has already presented its fresh nut butter at the event initiated by Munich Startup and the Chamber of Crafts for Munich and Upper Bavaria 'Startup meets craftsmanship' in 2019.
