The Insurtech Hub Munich (ITHM) is accepting applications for the accelerator program and the fifth batch until December 13, 2019.
The accelerator program for insurance startups is entering its fifth year with a slightly adjusted offering: Startups now have more time to scale their ideas. From February 20 to May 14, the selected insurtech startups can put their ideas to the test with the help of more than 150 experienced mentors and coaches from the insurance industry. The network offers contacts to over 15 insurance companies and investors.
The ITHM Accelerator program is in high demand
In the last batch, over 160 startups applied for the ten spots. This time, it's paying off again: In the current batch, the Insurtech Hub plans to accept up to 40 startups, which will complete a two-week sprint. Here, they'll have to prove themselves—only ten startups will be selected and supported until Demo Day.

What does the Insurtech Hub different from other accelerators? Director Ben Shaw says:
“What differentiates us from other well-known accelerators, is that although we provide a world class curriculum and offer plenty of perks and benefits, the program remains equity-free.”
And who should apply? The Insurtech Hub is open, as both B2B and B2C business models are exciting. Cross-industry applications or AI- and machine learning-driven innovations are also welcome.
