Insurtech Hub Munich is looking for startups for NXT:Commercial program

The Insurtech Hub Munich connects startups with the insurance industry through its NXT:Commercial program. The program focuses on cybersecurity, sustainability, and digitalization solutions for SMEs. Applications are open until August 31.

The multi-month NXT:Commercial program focuses on solutions that insurance and technology companies can offer to SMEs. Insurtech Hub three priorities were set:

  • Cyber risk protection: helping SMEs improve security and manage or mitigate risks
  • Enabling Sustainability: How to enable ESG progress in the SME sector to contribute to the ecological transformation?
  • Accelerating the digitalization of SMEs: How can insurers support digitally savvy entrepreneurs and ensure their successful digital transformation?

NXT:Commercial offers startups a number of advantages

The program offers participating startups several advantages. It not only provides access to over 30 corporate partners from the insurance and tech sectors, but also concrete sales opportunities with corporations such as Allianz, Munich Re, Generali, SAP, Google, and Microsoft. Furthermore, over 60 mentors and 25 investors support the startups with individually tailored mentoring. And through the One Mission Network The startups receive access to exclusive events for female founders.

To participate in the NXT:Commercial program participate To qualify, a startup must have demonstrated its product/market viability with initial traction. Furthermore, it is expected to be willing to expand into the German market and beyond, to learn from, and to cooperate with large companies.

The hybrid program begins with a personal onboarding in Munich, which takes place from September 26 to 28, and ends with a closing event on November 23 as part of the ITC DIA Munich.
