The Entrepreneurship Center of the Munich University of Applied Sciences SCE awards a "University Certificate for Founding Your Own Startup." The certification is open to both students and non-university members. The application deadline is July 10, 2019.
The University Certificate for Founding a Startup is aimed at aspiring founders who want to implement their innovative and scalable business idea and are seeking competent support and funding within an entrepreneurship ecosystem. To do so, external applicants must enroll in the program at Munich University of Applied Sciences (HM) and (re)receive university status. From then on, they can take advantage of the SCE and HM's offerings for training and continuing education and for implementing their own business idea.
What are the benefits of a university certificate for founding a startup?
The advantage for certificate students? They and their startups are accepted into the SCE's Proto-Support Program. This program provides them with intensive consulting from experienced startup consultants at the SCE and allows them to use the facilities of the in-house incubator for six months. Additionally, they receive a one-time prototype budget of €2,500.
At the same time, the startups benefit from targeted seminars, workshops, and networking events, as well as advice from mentors and subject matter experts. The university certificate is funded by the Zeidler Research Foundation.
