Roadsurfer launches in the USA

The Munich-based campervan rental company Roadsurfer is taking the plunge across the pond and launching its campervan rental service in the USA this summer.

After operating in 12 European countries with over 50 stations, there will be another Roadsurfer station in Los Angeles starting in June 2022. The Munich-based startup is thus venturing into the USA and plans to open additional locations there in 2023. The launch in the USA is planned with a fleet of 20 to 50 campers, according to Markus Dickhardt, co-founder and managing director of Roadsurfer. to the FAZ says. In addition to overseas expansion, Roadsurfer also plans to add new countries to its European map. Branches are planned in England, Scotland, Sweden, and Switzerland. A total of 50 stations are expected this year, and the fleet is expected to grow from 2,500 to 5,000 campers.

Roadsurfer Series-B totaling 28.5 million euros
