Technology Review is looking for young innovators

This year, Technology Review magazine is looking for innovators under 35 for the sixth time. Applications are open until March 25.

The magazine is once again honoring innovative people under the age of 35 who are breaking new ground and want to shape the future with their ideas. Submitted projects can be from the natural sciences, engineering, and computer sciences. Possible topics include IT applications, materials research, robotics, medicine, biotechnology, chemistry, energy, and transportation.

The awards will be given to specific projects and individuals who must not be older than 34 on December 31, 2019. Participants can apply themselves or be nominated. They must either be German citizens or conduct research on the submitted project in Germany. A jury, including the UnternehmerTUM-Managing Director Helmut Schönenberger, selects the winner.

Applicants should send a project description of a maximum of 2000 characters, a CV, a copy of their ID and, if possible, a letter of recommendation from a competent person by email to tr35@technology-review.de.

Renowned award winners

The American magazine MIT Technology Review has been awarding the prize since 1999. Previous winners include Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, Daniel Ek of Spotify, and Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin.
