Technology Review is looking for young thought leaders. The ten winners will be selected for the competition “Innovators under 35 Europe” nominated. Applications are open until March 12.
The magazine, published by Heise Publishing, is honoring innovators under 35 for the fourth time. Participants must be no older than 34 by December 31, 2017, and can apply themselves or be nominated. Projects from all fields of natural sciences, engineering, and computer science are eligible. Possible topics include IT applications, materials research, robotics, medicine, and biotechnology, as well as chemistry, energy, and transportation. Ten winners will then be chosen from all submissions, one of whom will be named "Innovator of the Year."
The winners do not receive any money, but they are automatically eligible for the Europe-wide competition “Innovators under 35 Europe” nominated. Partner of the German edition of the competition is the High-Tech Founders Fund (HTGF).
The American magazine MIT Technology Review has been awarding the prize since 1999. Previous winners include Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, Daniel Ek of Spotify, and Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin.
Registration is open until March 12, 2017 possible. Further information can be found here.
