Munich startups win at VisionAward

Success for Munich startups: Several companies from the Bavarian capital were honored at the 2017 VisionAward ceremony! This year, the jury chose the three winners free machines, Lilium Aviation and rfrnz.

The VisionAwards have been honoring young and established companies that set new standards with innovative business ideas since 2006. VisionAward winners in recent years include well-known companies such as Amiando (XING Events), Brands4friends, Betterplace, Deutschland rundet auf, Last.fm, myTaxi, and Bragi Dash.

Additional award for TUM students

In addition to the three award winners free machines, Lilium Aviation and rfrnz, the jury also awarded a VisionAward_17 TalentsThis goes to students of the Technical University of Munich with their project WARR Hyperloop.

The VisionAwards_17 were presented by Josef Schmid (Deputy Mayor of Munich), Siegfried Schneider (President of the BLM) and Peter Driessen (General Manager of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce for Munich and Upper Bavaria).
