Venta AI secures 1.7 million euros

The Munich-based startup Venta AI has received €1.7 million from Gradient, Y Combinator, and other investors. The team will use the capital to expand its AI sales platform and plan to hire new employees in several areas.

Venta AI (formerly Order Link) has closed a financing round of 1.7 million euros (approximately two million dollars). The pre-seed round was led by venture capital firm Gradient. Other investors include the US accelerator Y Combinator, Orange Collective, and Gaingels, as well as business angels Gleb Tritus, Julian Borg, Göran Göring, and Freddy Martin.

The startup develops AI sales representative, which are specifically tailored to the German market. The goal is to automate B2B sales in Europe – while complying with data protection and competition laws.

Venta AI: Legally compliant cold calling for German companies

With the fresh capital, the team led by founders Lucas Spreiter and Stefan Reuther plans to expand the skills of their digital sales staff and hire additional specialists. Venta AI is already enabling German companies to conduct cold calling in compliance with data protection regulations for the first time.

The platform combines high-quality data, AI models, and various marketing channels such as mailing to reach target customers quickly and in a personalized manner. Companies such as UnternehmerTUM and the Arno Group are already using the product, for example, in trade fair preparations or to identify new target markets.

"You wouldn't hire English-speaking salespeople to sell to German customers—and the same principle applies to AI. During our time at Y Combinator in the US, we saw how rapidly the sales automation market was evolving. But existing tools weren't designed for the German language and didn't comply with local laws. Therefore, we decided to develop an AI salesperson specifically tailored to the German language and focused on compliance with regulations here. We're very pleased to have the support of well-known investors who share our vision of localized AI employees."

explained Lucas Spreiter, Managing Director of Venta AI.

Focus on European requirements and growing demand

The Venta AI product is fully hosted in Europe and uses only GDPR-compliant data. It therefore meets the requirements of the European ePrivacy regulations – a crucial factor for many companies.

"Venta AI is addressing one of the most overlooked gaps in AI adoption: regional specificity. The team is building a localized sales platform that not only translates workflows but also adapts to regional buyer behavior, data standards, and compliance frameworks. This kind of contextual intelligence will separate the wheat from the chaff in the next wave of sales automation. We're excited to support Lucas, Stefan, and the Venta AI team in building AI employees that actually serve Europe."

says Eylul Kayin, Partner at Gradient.

In the future, Venta AI's AI employees will not only automate customer engagement, but also process incoming inquiries, track contacts, and analyze CRM systems. To this end, the startup plans to hire new employees in development, sales, and customer success.
