Foodpunk partners with AOK Plus

AOK Plus, the health insurance company in Saxony and Thuringia, is integrating Foodpunk's personalized nutrition technology into its app. With the Munich-based startup's application, insured members can now create free healthy eating plans based on their personal preferences.

To offer its members free access to Foodpunk's technology, AOK Plus has partnered with the nutrition company. This allows members to create healthy meal plans with around 700 everyday, sugar-free recipes via its app. Users can also expand their knowledge of topics such as gut health in a fun way through challenges.

Since 2015, the nutrition experts at Foodpunk have been developing nutrition programs based on current scientific findings. Startup constantly expanding the range of special plans for various medical conditions. Programs that promote healthy weight loss or improved skin can also be App create.

Foodpunk founder and CEO Marina Lommel explained:
