The exits of the year

This year, many founders sold their startups. However, the Munich startup scene didn't see any IPOs in 2023. We've summarized the most important exits of the year for you.

Chatchamp
Chatbot startup Chatchamp acquired by Trbo: In February, one Munich-based company swallowed another. Chatchamp, which had developed a chatbot that advises online shoppers on their purchases, was taken over by Trbo, a website personalization platform also based in Munich. With its AI-based platform, the company aims to enable website operators to customize their web presence for each visitor thanks to dynamic on-site personalization. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price; despite the exit, Chatchamp will continue to operate as a separate brand under the leadership of its founders. (Image: Chatchamp)
