Founders who want to disrupt, complement, or support the cultural and creative industries have come to the right place at the Wavelab Incubator. With a hybrid program alternating between on-site weeks and remote work phases, participants receive six months of support in the form of individually tailored coaching sessions with suitable experts. This also includes matching and exchange with experienced mentors from the cultural, tech, and business sectors, as well as free coworking space.
In addition, the network of Incubators Access to cultural institutions and companies – from subculture to high culture – and connects young companies with other players in the Munich startup ecosystem and technology companies. Investors, sponsors, and potential customers are also part of this network.
Wavelab Incubator: Application deadline August 31
We are looking for teams of at least two founders who are using new technologies to solve a problem in the music, arts, or media sectors. A working prototype should be within reach, but the startup does not need to be officially founded yet. Wavelab also emphasizes that the submitted ideas are innovative, sustainably financeable, and scalable. And, of course, participants must be available to attend the Wavelab Incubator during the on-site phases.
Anyone who would like to apply to participate in the Wavelab Incubator has until August 31 Time. The online application requires an introductory video of the team and idea, as well as a pitch deck and financial plan. The most promising teams will then be invited to an introductory call by Wavelab at the end of September. The program then starts in November.
Anyone who wants to learn more about the Wavelab and the Incubator beforehand will have the opportunity to do so on July 26. On that day, from 4 to 5 p.m., there will be a digital information session where the program will be presented and questions answered.
