Wavelab Incubator Batch #6: Apply now!

The Wavelab Incubator at the Munich University of Music and Performing Arts is entering its sixth round. Innovative tech startups with a focus on music, arts, and media are sought. The application deadline is September 15, 2025.

The Wavelab The Incubator is entering its sixth year. Starting in November 2025, the program will once again support tech startups in the music, art, and media sectors. The program focuses on flexible, tailored offerings – from in-person training weeks in Munich to digital workshops, coaching, and active networking.

During three intensive in-person weeks, participants receive team coaching, pitch training, and access to experts from culture, technology, and business. The program is complemented by regular digital workshops on startup, culture, and technology topics. Individual coaching and sparring sessions, as well as mentor matching, are also on the agenda. Coworking space in Munich's Kunstareal and a digital Slack workspace promote exchange and peer learning.

Networking is a top priority at the Wavelab Incubator: participating teams benefit from access to cultural institutions, technology companies, investors, sponsors, and potential customers.

We are looking for teams of two or more people with an innovative, technology-supported business idea and a clear connection to music, arts, or media. The startup does not need to be fully established, but an MVP should be within reach. Applications are open until September 15, 2025. A short introductory video, a pitch deck, and a financial plan are required. Video calls with selected teams will follow.

Further information and the application form are available on the Website of the Wavelab Incubator.
