The Strascheg Award is presented in three categories for innovative business ideas: the best business ideas from a course, from students' studies, and from academia and practice. Ideas, projects, and academic papers driven by entrepreneurial spirit are eligible for the award. The prize is endowed with a total of €30,000.
Strascheg Award: 5,000 euros for the first place winners
The decisive criteria for the award are the problem description, the solution approach, the degree of innovation, the market potential and the implementation plan of the idea. The submitted ideas are evaluated in a multi-stage process by entrepreneurship experts from the SCE and the Munich University of Applied Sciences as well as an external expert jury.
The three top-ranked ideas in each of the three categories will receive €5,000, €3,000, and €2,000, respectively, at the awards ceremony in the fall. In addition, all participants will receive a personal consultation and qualified feedback on their business idea, as well as the opportunity to receive funding in the six-month SCE Accelerator Program. This program includes intensive consulting, exclusive seminars/workshops for founders, a prototype budget, and workspace in the incubator.
Applications are possible online until September 30. Further information can be found here.
