Five well-known Munich startups that were supported by the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE), the Entrepreneurship Center of the Munich University of Applied Sciences.
ChargeX has developed a modular charging system for electric cars, specifically designed for charging in underground car parks and at the workplace. The charging solution requires only one power connection and can be flexibly expanded to supply many electric cars in one location. The startup is pursuing the vision of so-called "snack charging": charging electric cars when they are not needed. ChargeX also recently presented a bi-directional charging concept for electric cars in corporate fleets. The startup, which launched its last Financing round could complete, according to Munich Startup Insights now have a company valuation of 4 to 6 million euros.
