Polar Star was founded in 2011 by Jakob Assmann, Simon Stadler, and Florian Henle as an independent and publicly certified green energy provider. The Munich-based energy provider supplies households and businesses with green electricity from Bavarian hydropower and green gas from organic or plant-based resources.
