5 startups from the SEA cosmos

The Social Entrepreneurship Akademie (SEA) was founded in 2010 as a network organization of the entrepreneurship centers of the four Munich universities and has since supported numerous students and founders in developing or further developing their own social entrepreneurial ideas. SEA's approach: to combine social thinking with entrepreneurial action. You can discover social startups that have worked with SEA or are still working with it here.

Nearbybees brings local beekeepers and end consumers together on its online platform. There, consumers can search for local honey from registered beekeepers and have it delivered to their homes by mail. The platform not only aims to help beekeepers – who mostly practice beekeeping as a hobby – market their products, but also contribute to combating the decline of bees. With this approach, the Munich-based startup was also able to secure funding from the Social Venture Capital Fund in 2017. BonVenture convince the one invested a six-figure sum.
