Munich startups advancing urban mobility

Regional rail and public transport are currently experiencing a boom, thanks to the 9-euro ticket. These five startups are also aware that fundamental changes are needed in the mobility sector – especially in urban areas.

Ottobahn
Ottobahn: With a gondola system guided on rails, which will operate five to ten meters above road traffic, Ottobahn aims to solve the traffic problem in urban areas. Users can call the cabins via app and get on and off at any time along the route. An algorithm calculates the fastest connection for all gondolas along the route in real time. In addition, the transport system is intended to be CO2-neutral.
