5 success stories from the LMU EC

At the end of last year, the LMU Entrepreneurship Center (LMU EC) ceased operations. Now, the LMU Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center (LMU IEC) has taken over. We look back and present five of the program's most successful Munich alumni.

Yfood
Yfood: It all started with meal replacement drinks. The Munich-based company's product portfolio now also includes hot bowls, i.e., meals that can be poured over the body, as well as bars and powders for home-mixing. The basic idea of Yfood, however, remains the same: to replace an entire balanced meal for people who don't have time to cook "in a convenient, time-saving, cost-effective, and healthy way." During an appearance on the Founders Show 'The Lion's Den' In 2018, the two founders, Benjamin Kremer and Noël Bollmann, convinced Frank Thelen to invest €200,000. Further investments followed. Anyone who would like to try the Yfood drinks can find them at Müller, Rewe, Rossmann, and Edeka, among others. (Photo: Yfood)
