Tado Management Team
Tado: Tado has been helping its customers save energy since 2011. The Munich-based startup has now Step onto the stock market gone, but for Tado, too, it all began with the LMU EC. The Munich-based company teaches heating and air conditioning systems to think, ensuring that no energy is wasted unnecessarily. To do this, the startup's app collects data about its users' requirements and links it with publicly available information such as weather data. An algorithm processes this information and controls the heating and air conditioning systems on this basis. The app knows when the last resident left the house and turns down the heating. If a resident is on their way home in the evening, Tado heats the apartment depending on the expected outside temperature. With this concept, the startup was able to raise over 140 million euros in funding. Among the convinced investors are Amazon and Eon. (Photo: Tado)
