5 success stories from the LMU EC

At the end of last year, the LMU Entrepreneurship Center (LMU EC) ceased operations. Now, the LMU Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center (LMU IEC) has taken over. We look back and present five of the program's most successful Munich alumni.

Flix was once launched with the support of the LMU EC to "open up new opportunities for a young and student target group to travel cheaply and very comfortably between German cities." That was almost 10 years ago. Today, the company run by Jochen Engert, Daniel Krauss, and André Schwämmlein is worth around €2.7 billion and operates buses as well as trains. And not only in Germany, but also in large parts of Europe, North America, and Brazil. The three founders also share in their success: Both through SEK Ventures and individually, they participate as investors in numerous others Startups. (Photo: Flix)
