Higher, faster, further! Since Friday, January 22, 2016, the Munich-based startup ComfyLight has been recruiting supporters via the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter. The company has developed a home security system consisting of a smart lightbulb and a smartphone app. Now it plans to ramp up production of the LED lamps.
The first €50,000 mark was quickly broken. The target funding goal was reached in less than seven hours. Now the goal is to overcome the newly announced €150,000 hurdle. The target amount will be used for an API.
Interested parties and supporters can still join the crowdfunding campaign until February 21. The minimum contribution is €5. However, there's still room for improvement: you can contribute up to €5,500 and secure rewards. The ComfyLight light bulb is scheduled to be available to all backers starting in April 2016.
We are excited to see how the Kickstarter campaign continues and wish you continued success!
