7 Munich Female Founders You Should Know

According to the Female Founders Monitor, 165 of 1,510 startups in Munich have a woman on their founding team, which is just 10.9 percent. Nationwide, however, the proportion of female founders averaged 19 percent between 2016 and 2018, according to the KfW (KfW German Development Bank). So, Munich has some catching up to do. Until then, we'll introduce you to some of Munich's female founders who serve as role models for other women and can inspire them to start their own businesses.

Günes Seyfarth, social & eco & serial entrepreneur: Günes Seyfarth is a true serial entrepreneur. Next Entrepreneurs, The Astronaut, and Fruitiverse are just three examples of her business ideas. When asked what motivates her to start a new business, she said"I want to discover new things. That's why I find it exciting when I delve into something I'm new to and then successfully establish and consolidate it as a supreme discipline, to find out for myself whether I've understood it or whether there's still something to work on.
