Xpreneurs, the incubator program of UnternehmerTUM, supports startups with entrepreneurial know-how and a large network. The three-month, full-time program is completely free and helps founders validate their business model, acquire their first customers, and secure their first investment. The ninth batch runs from March 8 to June 11, 2021. Teams with a strong high-tech focus, particularly in the areas of smart city, medtech, B2B software/hardware, smart enterprise, or mobility, can apply until February 7. applyThe selection pitches will then take place on February 18 and 19.
For this round, Xpreneurs is primarily looking for startups whose innovation or business idea focuses on software and hardware, artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), additive manufacturing (3D printing), robotics, or augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR).
The advantages of Xpreneurs
The Xpreneurs community has raised more than €260 million in venture capital since 2017 and boasts over 100 successful alumni. These include startups such as Kewazo with its scaffolding robot, the Proptech and SaaS startup Caala, the SaaS startup Crashtest Security, the IoT startup Dynamic Components (which has now exited), and many more.
Through the incubator, participating teams have free access to
- intensive and individual coaching,
- a large network of successful entrepreneurs,
- selected investors to whom they can pitch on the Demo Day,
- funding of up to 5,000 euros for the construction of prototypes and
- Office space in Munich or Garching.
