For two years, self-employed individuals and companies from the cultural and creative industries will be able to move into offices in the newly renovated Ruffinihaus on Rindermarkt. The interim use is being coordinated by the City of Munich's Cultural and Creative Industries Competence Team. Starting in November, the selected teams will work together in a central location in the heart of Munich, further developing themselves and their offerings—or even reinventing them.
Those interested, however, do not have to commit to a full two-year contract. Shorter usage or project participation is also possible for a period of six months or more. Rooms: expected to be between 17 and 20 euros per square meter.
Creative Hub in the Ruffinihaus
If you remember: Even before the renovation of the beautiful Ruffinihaus, the building was used by startups and creatives as a “Creative Hub” in the winter three years ago (Munich Startup reported). And this time too, creative professionals will be able to take their next entrepreneurial steps in the 'Ruffinihaus – Creative Hub', which is located in the best inner-city location. Competence team for cultural and creative industries will provide support with consultations, training, and networking opportunities. Workshops and events are also planned. Participants will also be able to meet in the kitchen or meeting room, exchange ideas, and initiate collaborations.
Anyone who wants to move in must submit an "expression of interest." Here, you'll have to answer questions such as:
- What current business challenge are you facing?
- Is participating in this interim use the right step at this time? And if so, why?
- What business goal do you want to achieve during this time?
- Why are you interested in collaborating with other companies?
