Celonis GmbH, a leading provider of big data analytics technology “Process Mining,” has been recognized as Germany’s fastest-growing technology company at the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Awards.
With the Fast 50 Awards, Deloitte annually honors the fastest-growing companies in the high-tech industry for their entrepreneurial excellence. Growth rate of 3951 percent over the last four financial years, Celonis secured itself with the innovative and self-developed Process mining software first place. The awards ceremony took place Monday evening at a celebratory event at the Museum of Communication in Berlin. Prominent winners of the American Fast 50 Awards included electric car manufacturer Tesla Motors and Google.

"Four years ago, we – Bastian Nominacher, Martin Klenk, and I – officially founded Celonis. Since then, we've been helping companies leverage big data to improve their internal processes and building a world-leading, international software company. Today, process mining is already used in over 13 different industries, from auditing and accounting to supply chain management and customer service. Therefore, first place is a validation of the work of the entire Celonis team, which we are very pleased about. The award motivates us to continue growing rapidly and driving further innovations." explains Alexander Rinke, co-founder of Celonis.
With Celonis Process Mining (CPM), companies can fully visualize, analyze, and optimize their complex processes. The software accesses all process data from a company's IT systems in real time to reconstruct the actual process flow with all occurring Varia elements and present it to the user in a scalable manner. CPM thus creates the greatest possible transparency within companies, allowing them to eliminate inefficiencies and drastically reduce process costs.
"This year, we once again received numerous applications from a wide range of technology sectors. The wealth of ideas underscores Germany's innovative strength. In the digital age, companies must rethink their business processes, adapt their products, and analyze and evaluate large amounts of data. Competent IT solutions are therefore in high demand. The nearly 50 participants have gained customer acceptance with their innovative business models and have the potential to take off worldwide.", explains Dr. Andreas Gentner, Partner and Head of Technology, Media & Telecommunications at Deloitte.
Celonis continues its success story with its placement in the Fast 50 Award 2015. In October, it was recognized as an outstanding spin-off of the Technical University of Munich (TUM) for its innovative business idea and strong growth. The innovative power of Celonis has also not gone unnoticed by IT giant SAP, which entered into a global sales partnership with the young company a few months ago. Technical experts from Celonis and SAP are now working closely together to optimize and further develop the combination of pioneering technologies.
