The event was moderated by 19-year-old Rubin Lind, founder of Skills4School.

"Founders are the SMEs of tomorrow. Getting things done, implementing ideas, and founding a company—that has to become popular again among young people!"

motivated the Bavarian Minister of Economic Affairs Hubert Aiwanger the almost 100 young people who took part in the event.

On the importance of supporting young entrepreneurs, Florian Mann from plant1:

"We repeatedly find that the right mindset is the foundation for a successful startup. This must be communicated to young people at an early age, especially, and an understanding created that 'starting a business' is a real alternative to being employed and how much fun it is to work on your own company. Startup Teens is a fantastic initiative that addresses this very issue, and we at Werk1 therefore support it to the best of our ability. It's always a highlight for us when they organize events with us with such fantastic guests like today."

Founding country Bavaria

Aiwanger promoted the advantages of Bavaria as a location for the company as follows:

"Motivation to start a business is the first step, but it alone is not enough. Whether it's developing drones, big data analytics, Industry 4.0 applications, or digital energy concepts, startups need an environment that encourages the development of new business models. They find it in Bavaria! In every administrative district, digital incubators help turn business ideas into reality. Concepts for seven additional digital incubators are already in place."
