Brot am Haken eV starts crowdfunding campaign

“Our dream: A bread-on-a-hook bakery bag!” — From today the Crowdfunding campaign by Brot am Haken eV on Startnext Live. At least €10,000 is to be raised through the crowd by December 16, 2018, so that the dream of owning a bakery bag can become a reality. These bakery bags are intended to help the registered association gain greater visibility.

1 bakery bag = 1 person. 100,000 bakery bags = 100,000 people. Brot am Haken eV aims to increase its awareness with this simple calculation. The social startup is also interested in a sustainable marketing campaign. Therefore, the bakery bags will replace flyers in the future.

The club is already well-known with its Bread on the hook joy boards in over 60 bakeries, cafes, ice cream parlors, and hair salons. But there's more to come. At least, that's what the team around Managing Director Michael Regnet thought and the Crowdfunding campaign on Startnext The money collected will therefore be used for the production of bakery bags and for the acquisition of new bakeries.

 And how does bread on a hook work?

The social startup aims to make the concept of small gifts as simple as possible. If you discover a so-called "joy board" in a store, you, as the giver, can buy a loaf of bread or a cup of coffee and hang the receipt on the board. The recipient can then simply take the gift from the board and redeem the receipt.
