Bits & Pretzels: Three-day startup festival

The event has already taken place twice with great success, now Bits & Pretzels is back for its third round – this time for three days. The Munich Startup Festival for founders, young entrepreneurs, those interested in starting a business, investors, and incubators runs from September 27 to 29, 2015.

Well-known entrepreneurs from around the world, as well as young, aspiring entrepreneurs, will meet at the event to exchange ideas with like-minded people. Among them will be leading figures from successful digital companies such as Phil Libin (CEO Evernote), Mikkel Svane (Co-Founder & CEO Zendesk), Florian Leibert (Co-Founder & CEO Mesosphere), Pieter van der Does (Co-Founder & CEO Adyen), Florian Gschwandtner (Co-Founder & CEO Runtastic), and Niklas Oestberg (Delivery Hero). Insights at the ICM

On the first two days of the event at the International Congress Center of Messe München (ICM) Participants will receive important tips and insights for building a successful startup. Presentations will provide inspiring insights into visions of the future.

As usual, the third day of the festival is dedicated to networking over food and drinks. To bring tradition and innovation together, this part takes place in the Schottenhamel tent at Oktoberfest.

Around 3,600 participants are expected. The Bavarian Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Media, Energy and Technology and Deputy Prime Minister Ilse Aigner is the patron and supporter of the event.

The Startup Festival at a glance

Day 1: Keynotes and Night Bash

Day 2: Hands-on workshops and even more evening program

  • Workshops, talks and presentations at the ICM
  • Online Marketing Bash at Filmcasino and Founders Beat at P1

Day 3: Bits & Pretzels at Oktoberfest

  • Networking at the Oktoberfest: Around 300 beer tables are reserved for you in the central aisle of the Schottenhamel festival tent. Choose your own table and table captain.
