The Munich location:
Since the beginning of 2018, the Smart Village, with its new location and concept, has become the place for creative and innovative freethinkers from Munich's concert halls and agencies. Workshops are different here! It's a second home for teams looking for more than just workshop space, but also for a first-hand experience of New Work. Participants become residents and experience what it means to suddenly think outside the box. It offers a change of perspective and a change of scenery that will inspire brilliant ideas.
With approximately 1,500 workshop guests and more for evening events and meetups per month, the Smart Village has become a melting pot of the innovation scene in Munich.
The operator concept:
Since 2013, the Smart Village, with a different concept and location, has amassed extensive expertise in the areas of innovation culture, spatial design, and workshop facilitation, making it a pioneer in the New Work movement. It uses this expertise to help corporations through an operator model. This involves designing, building, and operating an "in-house" Smart Village at the company's location. Simply put, the Smart Village takes over the existing conference zones in large companies, redesigns them, and then operates the space with specially trained staff. The focus during the operational phase is on the company's employees. This means employee satisfaction, employer branding, and employee recruitment are key.
