Reactive Robotics develops and builds robots for very early mobilization (VEM) of patients in intensive care units using its patented, modular technology. Our robot allows for the patient to receive therapy in his/her own bed, which is part of our system. As a result, the transfer onto a different therapy device will no longer be necessary. This means there is not only significantly lower risk for the patient but also less physical effort or time required considering the therapy staff.

Studies have shown that VEM reduces the rehabilitation time of patients up to 20%. As intensive care units have an occupancy of about 96%, this means that the beds can be filled again right away, which in turn means that up to 20% more patients can be treated per bed per year.
