Munich Web Week

The Munich Web Week was held for the first time in 2012. It is supported by Munich-based organizations and companies that want to strengthen the digital economy in Munich and better network its players.

For one week, events focusing on the internet and digital topics will take place at various locations in Munich. The events are organized and hosted by the organizations themselves.

The Munich Web Week is a trade fair of a different kind.

More than 60 events
In more than 60 independently organized events on digital topics, Munich organizations, companies, clubs and associations, freelancers and artists demonstrate how Munich is helping to shape the digital space.

Evening reception in the Old Town Hall
The central event of the Munich Web Week 2016 will once again be the traditional City Hall Reception, which will take place on November 3rd. At the invitation of the City of Munich, young professionals, founders, entrepreneurs, bloggers, and many more will meet to get to know each other and discuss digital topics. The keynote address on Digital Leadership will be given by Christiane Brandes-Visbeck, management consultant, author, and director of the Hamburg Quarter of the Digital Media WomenThe evening reception will also feature the presentation of the Isarnetz Blog Award, for which there are already more than 200 nominations.

Isarcamp: Visitors' Conference
The Isarcamp on November 5th features exciting keynote speeches from, among others, M-Net and Uniscon. But then the visitors take center stage, creating their own agenda and delivering presentations and sessions themselves.

App and program booklet for visitors
Visitors can find information about all events in the event calendar on the Munich Web Week website. The event calendar is complemented by the "miitya" app, which serves as a central hub for finding events and event participants nearby. This year, a PDF program booklet will also be available again, which will also be available at many Munich Web Week events.
