Innovation Award of the German Mobility Industry: Application phase underway

The German Society for Transport Research (DVWG) is seeking innovative projects and products in the field of transport and mobility. Startups and founders can submit their applications for the German Mobility Industry Innovation Award until July 31.

The German Mobility Industry Association (DVWG) will present the German Mobility Industry Innovation Award at the German Mobility Congress in November 2023. An independent jury of experts from the mobility industry, associations, and academia will select the winners. The awards ceremony will take place on November 13 at Frankfurt's Paulskirche.

The German Mobility Industry Innovation Award is presented as a purely non-material prize for particularly sustainable and trend-setting solutions in the field of mobility and transport. Two award categories are available for applications: The "Products/Projects" category requires a product, project, or service solution in the mobility industry that is already successful on the market. The "Energy Efficiency" special award is presented for successful projects and solutions that Energy consumption and verifiably reduce climate-relevant emissions in the transport sector. The jury awards the third prize in the "Personality" category to outstanding individuals who have demonstrated long-standing commitment to progress in the mobility sector and have provided important impetus through their achievements. Applications are not accepted for this award category.

All individuals, organizations, and companies based in Germany are eligible to participate in the competition. As a scientific association, the DVWG particularly appeals to applicants from the following groups:

  • Companies in the transport and mobility sector,
  • Transport and supply industry,
  • Consulting and research institutions,
  • Universities and colleges,
  • Municipalities and regions.
