The German Mobility Industry Innovation Award is presented to DVWG People, projects, and products that are driving progress in the mobility sector. The website states:
"As a symbol of 'mobility solutions made in Germany,' this non-material award is a recognition of the excellence and competence of the German mobility and transport industry, as well as the outstanding engineering skills that are native to our country."
The German Mobility Industry Association (DVWG) awards the German Mobility Industry Innovation Award in three categories. Applications are accepted online only and only for the "Products/Projects" category. After the application deadline, a jury of experts from industry associations and academia will evaluate the submissions and select the nominees and award winners. The winners will be announced on November 5, 2024, in Frankfurt's St. Paul's Church.
There is also a special award, this year titled "Diversity, Tolerance, and Respect." This will be presented to two winners who actively promote inclusive coexistence and combat discrimination, prejudice, and exclusion. In addition, the jury will nominate a person for the third award category who has distinguished themselves with a high level of personal and professional commitment to the industry.
Applications are open to organizations and companies based in Germany until July 31, 2024. The product or project should already be successfully established on the market and demonstrate innovative approaches that offer great potential for the future.
