Global Entrepreneurship Centre seeks sustainable startups

The Global Entrepreneurship Centre aims to help founders develop sustainable startups into scalable companies. Participants can receive up to €200,000 in funding through two programs. Applications are open until January 29, 2023.

At the Global Entrepreneurship Centre (GEC), founders will encounter two programs that guide their startup through various growth phases. Startups begin with the Catalyst Program, which is designed to strengthen their foundations. This includes, among other things, validating their business model and developing an investment strategy. Accordingly, this program is aimed at startups in the pre-seed or seed phase.

Founding teams that successfully complete the Catalyst program can then advance to the Scaling Factory. This program focuses on scaling topics. For the Scaling Factory, the GEC is looking for young companies in the Seed or Series A phase. Both programs also impart expertise in sustainability management through various program components. Participants can also secure investments in the form of convertible loans in kind totaling €200,000. Applications can be submitted online until January 29th.
