Intel Ignite was launched in 2019 and has been active across Europe from Munich since 2020. Through the program Startups have the opportunity to work with technology experts from Intel as well as investors, entrepreneurs, serial founders and leading industry experts for twelve weeks.
According to Intel, a total of 240 startups from across Europe applied for the current batch, and 10 founding teams were selected. Over the next 12 weeks, they can expect tailored mentoring on topics such as fundraising, market launch strategy, marketing & sales, and technology and product development. The program will also cover mental health, the value of diversity and inclusion, and managing dynamics between founders.
Intel Ignite: Participants from Munich
Deep scenarioFounded in 2021, AI startup Deepscenario is developing a solution that enables companies to train, test, and validate their autonomous driving systems on a large scale. The core of the solution is its ability to capture the real world in a scalable manner and extract traffic scenarios from it accurately and automatically. Its customers in the automotive industry can thus train and test algorithms for self-driving cars many times faster. In October 2022, Deepscenario secured a seven-figure financing.
Luminovo: Luminovo is developing software for the electronics industry to optimize communication and processes along the value chain in the product life cycle. In this way, the startup aims to bring developments from laboratories and R&D departments to market faster than before. In August 2022, Luminovo announced a Seed round of 11 million euros.
Software-Defined Automation: The Munich-based startup has developed a factory automation solution that it describes as an Industrial Control as a Service (ICaaS) offering. Software-defined automation connects industrial plants and machines to its cloud platform, making them centrally maintainable and configurable. This should make processes in automated factories flexible and adaptable in minutes. Just a few weeks ago, the startup completed a Seed round of 10.2 million euros away.
