The 3DExperience Lab offers startups and young companies a variety of services, including Fab, Immersive, Virtual Twin, Ideation, and Data Labs. As part of a two-year program, founders also gain access to Dassault Systèmes' 3DExperience platform and its cloud-based software solutions. The platform comprises various software solutions, such as the 3D CAD program SolidWorks. It covers the entire product lifecycle, from design through engineering and manufacturing to go-to-market. The platform enables those responsible for individual departments to always work with the same data sets. This data continuity is intended to enable integrated, collaborative work, giving startups a high degree of long-term scalability. This provides founders with the technical capabilities to quickly establish professional (software) structures, advance their product development, and grow as a company, even in the early, critical phase.
In addition, the 3DExperience Lab offers mentoring and coaching through Dassault Systèmes' global technology and business network and supports inventors in business-relevant areas such as sales and marketing. Young entrepreneurs are also supported by an incubator partner network in Germany, including Deutsche Messe Technology Academy, ESA BIC Bavaria, Sustainable Aero Lab, and TUM Venture Labs.
The 3DExperience Lab in Munich is the world's fourth startup hub of its kind by Dassault Systèmes. In 2015, the first lab was opened at the company's headquarters in Paris, followed by Boston and Pune, India. At the ceremonial opening last Tuesday, several startups – including Sewts, The Exploration Company and Servail from Munich – how they are leveraging Dassault's support. And Corinne Pereira da Silva, Consul General of the French Republic for Bavaria, praised the Franco-Bavarian collaboration for innovation.
