Using the Storybox app, company employees can create and organize video content on their smartphones. The app supports the creation of videos step by step via mobile using intuitive templates. It also automatically suggests image settings and scene lengths, even in a predefined corporate design. The content is stored in the GDPR-compliant Storybox cloud and can thus be accessed, filtered, and analyzed from anywhere.
The areas of application range from recruiting and employer branding to marketing and knowledge transfer. Storybox aims to be used for tutorials and instructions as well as for event documentation or workshop summaries. In this context, the company states that around 75 percent of employees prefer videos to text.

The Munich startup was recently able to secure financing in 2020HTGF, CK Ventures and BayBG invested a single-digit million amount. Even then, Katja Ruhnke, CEO of CK Venture Capital, on their investment:

The startup was founded in 2017 by CEO Ben Rodrian and CTO Rusmin Causevic. Storybox’s customers include companies such as Allianz, Deutsche Telekom and DB Schenker. Ben Rodrian explains what he intends to use the 1.5 million euros he has now collected for:
