Gominga: We focus on consumer insights and customer engagement on online platforms like Amazon, Apple, and Google. As a young technology company, we offer the world's leading SaaS software for online review management.
Gominga enables companies in all industries to improve their digital customer experience. With this easy-to-use software tool, we support our customers, Ratings, reviews and Q&A to manage efficiently and professionally across all digital platforms. Marketing, product management, and e-commerce teams rely on us to generate important insights from customer feedback to improve their products and services. Artificial intelligence and sentiment analysis are the key words here.
Customer service and social media teams use our integrated ticket management system to respond directly to individual reviews or questions on the various platforms. Customer interaction in the online age, so to speak.
We see ourselves as a one-stop shop for professional review management. Whether it's mobile apps, locations, webshops, or product reviews – Gominga supports online reputation to sustainably increase sales.
Munich Startup: But that's been around for a long time!
Gominga: The topic is fundamentally nothing new, and there are several players in our market, especially globally. However, our approach remains unique. Why? Because we focus on the analysis and response options for ratings, reviews, and Q&A across all relevant online platforms. Many providers focus on specific platforms, such as Amazon, Google, or Apple, and offer a complete package for them—thus focusing less on review management.
Collect as much customer feedback as possible online
We, on the other hand, offer a tool for all review types and global platforms. We now cover over 300 platforms: among the most well-known are Amazon, Bazaarvoice, and Walmart for product reviews; the Apple App Store and Google Play Store for mobile app reviews; Google My Business and Yelp for store reviews; and Trusted Shops and Trustpilot for website/webshop reviews.
We have made it our mission to collect as much customer feedback as possible online and make it easily accessible. Our SaaS tool is now used, valued, and recommended by many well-known national and international companies. We are continuously expanding our product range and our solution to meet market demands.
Munich Startup: What is your founding story?
Gominga: We see ourselves as a technology company with 25 years of experience in digital media and e-commerce. Amazon has become successful in retail through product reviews, and consumer-generated content has a lasting impact on our consumer behavior.
This gave rise to our business idea: to help companies actively manage this user-generated content, namely reviews and questions in e-business. Therefore, we developed software that enables our customers to manage multiple e-business platforms simultaneously from a single tool.
Organic, natural growth
Munich Startup: What have been your biggest challenges so far?
Gominga: The first few years have been the biggest challenge so far. Since we are self-financed and therefore have no Investors on board, everything we do revolves around organic, natural growth. Of course, this is difficult, especially in the beginning. Our field is still relatively new, and the market environment is very dynamic. You always have to be "on top of the game."
Munich Startup: Where would you like to be in one year, where in five years?
Gominga: Within a year, Gominga aims to be the Germany-wide go-to solution for efficient and comprehensive review management. Longer term, within the next five years, we aim to achieve this worldwide. We're already well on our way. As pioneers in this niche, we've already built a solid reputation. We work with global companies like BSH, LG, Samsung, and Gardena and strive to continue supporting strong companies over the long term. We also have highly successful partnerships with Bazaarvoice, Clarabridge/Qualtrics, Trustpilot, Zendesk, and others. We're continuously working to further expand our product and the market.

Munich Startup: How have you experienced Munich as a startup location so far?
Gominga: Munich is home to an exceptionally open startup culture and scene. Support is available from many sides and thrives on inspiring exchanges. We've noticed this especially since we moved into our new office in the Werksviertel district near Ostbahnhof. Munich is always worth recommending. After all, our name is "go-minga."
Munich Startup: Long breath or quick exit?
Gominga: We don't have any external investors or venture capitalists at Gominga. This gives us complete freedom over the company's future. We can make our own decisions and aren't tied down. Consequently, Gominga definitely stands for staying power! Our goal is sustainable, long-term growth with a focus on added value, without abandoning the ship ourselves.
