The Tech Rocketship Awards, launched by the UK's Department for International Trade (DIT), are searching for the next tech superstars from Europe, Israel, and Turkey. The winners will receive an exclusive, personalized business development trip to United Kingdomwhere they meet VCs, research and development clusters, potential new customers and much more to accelerate their growth.
To be eligible for the Tech Rocketship Awards, a scaleup must meet the following criteria:
- The headquarters are in Europe, Israel or Turkey.
- The scaleup has been in business for at least 6 months, has at least 3 employees and a current annual turnover of at least 30,000 euros (25,000 pounds).
- The product and/or service has international applicability.
- The company has not yet established a presence in the United Kingdom and plans to expand within the next two years.
Six categories and one special prize
In addition, the scaleup’s business model must fit one of the following Tech Rocketship Awards categories:
- artificial intelligence
- 5G
- Agricultural Tech
- Digital health
- Cybersecurity
- Climate Tech
Deadline for the Application deadline is May 1, 2022Those who apply before April 22 can also participate in the webinar "Shaping Your Pitch and Telling Your Story" on April 26. This interactive webinar focuses on telling a startup's story in a way that convinces investors to invest and customers to buy. It features insights from experienced entrepreneurs and industry experts.
After the application phase, selected startups will be invited to local events, where three regional winners will be chosen. These will then pitch in a virtual semifinal on September 12. The winners selected there will then be invited to the final on November 1, where the main winners will be determined. In addition to the category winners, a prize for diversity in startups will also be awarded.
