The patient perspective is increasingly being incorporated, particularly in the development of individualized treatments within the framework of precision medicine, but also in the evaluation of patient benefits from a reimbursement perspective. Therefore, XO Life aims to make the recording of patient experiences on its platform a standard in healthcare. To this end, the Startup with headquarters in Munich, works with one of the leading European research institutes for patient-centered research, the Promis Institute Germany of the Charité, as well as various pharmaceutical manufacturers.
XO Life is funded by the medtech industry
The €2 million financing round is therefore being primarily funded by players from the medtech sector: the international healthcare VC Seedlink, the corporate VC Mediventures of the pharmaceutical company Medice, Aescuvest, a fintech company focused on financing digital startups in the healthcare sector, and other healthcare technology service providers. The fresh funds will now primarily be used to expand the platform's product and development capacities.
