XO Life secures financing of 7 million euros

XO Life has developed ImpactMonitor, a platform that aims to provide patients with trustworthy health information, therapy monitoring, and support and interaction with other patients. A consortium of four venture capital firms is now investing seven million euros in the international expansion of the ImpactMonitor platform, which aims to provide an alternative to traditional searches such as Google, Facebook, TikTok, or Instagram.

The investment round from XO Life over seven million euros is led by the Norwegian VC Sandwater and the German VC Grazia Equity. VI Partners from Switzerland and Bavaria Capital are co-investors. Existing investors such as Aescuvest, Winning Mindset Ventures, and Isartal Ventures, as well as other investors and family offices from the healthcare and care sector, also participated in this financing round.

Verified medical information for patients

XO Life has developed a meta-platform that serves as a digital companion for patients regarding their medications, products, therapies, and illnesses. The platform aims to provide patients with verified medical information, collect feedback, and facilitate exchange and medical support. Pharmaceutical and medtech manufacturers, as well as other healthcare players, offer specific product and therapy areas through the platform. The ImpactMonitor platform also aims to help manufacturers and research institutions (the latter free of charge) identify patient needs and preferences and support the development of new patient-centered therapies. To ensure an objective and free user experience, there is currently no exclusive content or sponsorship from manufacturers. Registration on the ImpactMonitor platform is free via Mac, PC, or the app for iOS and Android. Friderike Bruchmann, co-founder and CEO of XO Life, is pleased with the current financing round:

"This investment will enable us to further develop our technology and expand internationally. After demonstrating our success in the German market, we want to address global health challenges and make our innovative solutions available to a wider audience."

“Closes an important gap in healthcare”

Morten E. Iversen, Partner at Sandwater, explains:

"We are excited about the unique opportunities and capabilities of XO Life's meta-platform. We believe the ImpactMonitor platform will fill a critical gap in healthcare by providing comprehensive health information and patient support across Europe and beyond."

And Markus Mrachacz, Managing Director at Bayern Kapital, adds:

"XO Life's intuitive platform provides patients with validated medical information and provides medical institutions and pharmaceutical companies with better insights into patient questions and needs. This combination makes XO Life an exciting opportunity for us in the digital health space."
