Media Startup Fellowship: Call for Batch 10

The Media Lab Bayern Media Startup Fellowship program is entering its tenth round. Among other things, the teams will receive coaching, contacts, and funding of up to €50,000. The application period for the 10th batch ends on July 18, 2021.

Anyone who wants to develop new solutions for the media world has come to the right place with the Media Startup Fellowship: The funding program of the Media Lab Bayern supports founders in realizing their ideas and solutions in the digital media sector. The Media Startup Fellowship not only offers exciting coaching and mentoring from startup and media experts, as well as access to a large media network, but also provides up to €50,000 in financial support. This includes a prototyping budget of up to €40,000, plus an additional €10,000 for consulting and media services.

The nine-month program is divided into three phases. Phase 1, the Product Phase, involves validating the prototype, finding customers, and developing a brand positioning. In the subsequent Sales Phase, sales approaches are tested. Here, the Media Lab Bayern supports the customer search and establishes contacts within the partner network and the media industry. The third and final phase of the program is the Investment Phase. In this phase, participants develop a sustainable business model. Topics such as financing and legal issues are also on the agenda.

Application for the Media Startup Fellowship

The application deadline for the Media Startup Fellowship is July 18, 2021. Teams selected for Batch 10 will begin their fellowship in October 2021. To participate, the idea must have already been validated. Furthermore, the team should be sufficiently advanced to allow you to work on the product smoothly over the nine months.
