Munich Startup: Who are you and what does Spoons of Taste do? Please introduce yourselves briefly!
Spoons of Taste: Spoons of Taste is an innovative and young food startup from Munich that stands for healthy and sustainable snacks. We focus on well-being, gut health, enjoyment, and the careful use of resources. In addition to our first product line, Feel Good Bites, we have fully funded our innovative Aharabar product line thanks to our successful crowdfunding campaign and are currently preparing to launch the Aharabars.
Spoons of Taste was founded in March 2020 by Agata Andryszczak (30) and her partner Sylvain Georjon (32). The two met while studying in England. Agata studied Business and Finance, while Sylvain studied Automotive Engineering.
Munich Startup: What problem does your startup solve?
Spoons of Taste: Snacks are part of everyday life. Many are increasingly looking for great-tasting, wholesome, and sustainable foods to fuel their on-the-go lifestyle. This trend is known as the "snackification" movement and is driven by three main factors: convenience, portability, and health. At Spoons of Taste, we want to Our products not only impress with their taste, but also do good for the body. With Feel Good Bites or Aharabars as a snack between meals or after exercise, our consumers don't need to feel guilty because we produce our snacks with the best ingredients and we support the organization "1% for the planet" with our sales.
Our motto: We better align the food we eat with the planet we love.
Adaptogens support the body in a natural way
Munich Startup: But that's been around for a long time!
Spoons of Taste: Most snacks rely on additives, sugar, nuts, or dairy products, and offer no alternatives. Our snacks, however, are free of all these additives and contain no refined sugar, nuts, soy, or dairy products. For example, our newest product line, Aharabar bars, is not your average bar; it's an innovation in the snack industry. This wholesome bar covers your daily vitamin needs and is packed with adaptogens, which naturally support the body in achieving certain states such as improved sleep, better concentration, or even higher energy levels. Our Aharabars contain natural organic ingredients, plant proteins, vitamins, adaptogens, and are vegan and allergen-friendly.
Munich Startup: What have been your three biggest challenges so far?
Spoons of Taste: Our 14-month mission to develop our Aharabars was like a rollercoaster ride with its ups and downs. We faced several challenges, such as developing a formula for combining the snack bar's ingredients with plant-based proteins, vitamins, and adaptogens to ensure our bars would provide energy throughout the day and taste great, finding a production partner, and crowdfunding (100 percent funded). However, all the work, time, and effort paid off, and we'll soon be able to bring our innovative Aharabars to customers.

Munich Startup: Where would you like to be in one year, where in five years?
Spoons of Taste: We naturally want to grow and expand our product portfolio with more innovative snacks in a year's time, so there's something for everyone. Spoons of Taste believes that nutrition and lifestyle are one of the fundamental principles upon which health, happiness, and harmony are based. We want to become a leading European snack company offering on-the-go snacks that keep customers energized throughout the day.
In five years, we plan to be represented in most German supermarkets and drugstores.

Spoons of Taste: Munich is a colorful and international Startup-Oasis and offers a broad network for exchange. Especially for those just starting out, you'll find everything and everyone here to support your startup idea.
