Munich Startup: Who are you and what does Worknow do? Please introduce yourselves briefly!
Worknow: We, the two founders, Florian Bogner (25) and Leon Schwarzott (26), met while studying mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Munich. We met Philipp Riedel during our entrepreneurial careers. As Managing Director of Avantgarde Experts, he supports us in all strategic matters.

Munich Startup: What problem does your startup solve?
WorknowSmall businesses have to put in a lot of effort to find and hire employees. We digitize the employee search process. in an all-in-one solutionto make the process fast and predictable. We provide applicants with a completely mobile experience without resumes, etc.
Munich Startup: But that's been around for a long time!
Worknow: In medium and large companies, digital HR especially among the general public. However, for retailers and restaurateurs, implementing such large-scale solutions isn't necessary. There are, of course, many job portals for them, but no all-in-one solution that combines the job portal component with simple process management.
Special challenge for the target group
Munich Startup: What challenge are you currently facing?
Worknow: The current situation of openings and closings tempts one to define the target customer according to who is currently open, instead of continuing to focus on the core target group.
Munich Startup: Where would you like to be in one year, where in five years?
Worknow: Currently, there are over 600 registered companies and 15,000 users, so far exclusively in Munich. We aim to be present throughout Germany by the end of the year. By 2026, it will be possible to find a job through us in every European country.

Munich Startup: How do you rate Munich as a startup location?
Worknow: We've never had a problem finding qualified employees willing to put in the effort. That's certainly more difficult in smaller cities. The expansion of major tech companies' offices also demonstrates that this is a huge location advantage. Apple just announced it will invest one billion euros in Munich.
