Munich-based fittech company Strydal has received €800,000 in pre-seed financing. Several angel investors have contributed, including Jacob Fatih (founder of Fitx), Urs Keller (Stylight, Teleclinic), Chris Hitchen (Holidu, Anydesk), and Jakob Riegger (co-founder of Trustyou) contributed capital.
The Munich-based company is building a software platform that makes it easy for fitness trainers and yoga instructors to launch their online business. Strydal describes its business as 'Shopify for fitness.' The solution aims to combine all aspects of online teaching by integrating live classes, on-demand content, customer communication, and invoicing into one platform.
This will enable individual providers of online fitness courses to compete with dominant players such as Peloton, Mirror or Gymondo.

The Munich-based company was founded in 2019 by industry insiders Alexander Estner (formerly at Eversports) and Guilherme Coelho (formerly at Freeletics) was founded in 2018. The startup entered the market in July 2020. Currently, the Fittech ten employees.
