Ridebee is developing a Mobility platform for sustainable corporate locationsThe platform establishes shared commutes among employees of a company. With this idea, the startup convinced its existing Investors 'Axel Springer & Porsche' (APX). Business angels Andreas Burike (Anydesk), Gunter Dueck (Sharpist), Michael Hetzer (Tomorrow Bank) and Michael Schnickmann (Rebike1) are now also coming on board.
"The increasing changes in everyday working life are, among other things, leading to greater flexibility in the demands on individual mobility. More and more people are distancing themselves from the idea of leaving a car parked in front of their door 24 hours a day,"
explain the founders Lukas Mohs and Fabian Seitz.
In times of flexible working models, Ridebee makes it possible to plan and organize arrival and departure on any working day together with teammates. Choice between collection points and door-to-door carpooling one of the building blocks for success.
Venture capital to further open the Ridebee platform
The solution is already being used by 10,000 employees at various company locations, for which the Munich-based startup has been exclusively commissioned. In addition to developing additional locations, Ridebee's six employees will use the new funding to expand the platform's offerings. This includes integrating additional shared mobility alternatives in addition to private rides. The startup, founded in 2018, is also planning several partner projects to reach new target groups.
"In many locations, shared mobility alternatives have great potential for both daily and occasional commuting. We are now very pleased to have such experienced business angels on board who will help us realize this potential with their expertise,"
explain the two founders Lukas Mohs and Fabian Seitz.
