For the fifth time, Handelsblatt and McKinsey & Company are announcing the German digital award "The Spark." This year's theme is "Smart Mobility." Interested startups can apply until July 5th.
The global mobility Although currently severely limited, mobility as we know it is poised for major changes in the coming years. Digitalization is connecting vehicles and infrastructure. New, sustainable drive systems are increasingly expected to replace the combustion engine, and software-based technologies such as innovative business models are redefining how people and goods move. This offers opportunities to develop the mobility ecosystem and make 'smart mobility' a reality in the 21st century.
Wanted: Startups that help shape the mobility of the future
The German Digital Prize is therefore seeking innovative startups from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland that are already shaping the mobility of the future. The focus is on all forms of mobility and solutions: digitized hardware and software, as well as service providers and infrastructure solutions, are relevant for 'The Spark'.
Applications can now be submitted onlineThe application deadline is July 5, 2020. All applicants will undergo a multi-stage selection process before the top ten finalists present their work to the distinguished jury in live pitches. The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on November 12.
