Attention startups: The city of Nancy and the Goethe-Institut located there are looking for young entrepreneurs and creatives who are interested in program “Oh my Goethe!” of the German-French creative laboratory.
The "Oh My Goethe" initiative aims to promote German-French cooperation in the cultural and creative industries and support entrepreneurs in developing their business ideas. To this end, it brings together innovative players from both countries with the goal of networking, exchanging ideas, and learning from each other. We are looking for young entrepreneurs or creatives from the fields of music, books, film, broadcasting, architecture, design, press, advertising, software, and games. You can apply individually or as a team of up to three people.
Schedule of the program “Oh my Goethe!”
A total of ten applicants from Germany and ten applicants from Nancy will be invited to the free, English-language "Cultural Entrepreneurship Academy" in Nancy from October 25 to 27, 2019. Two Franco-German teams will then be selected from the remaining applicants to participate in the "Oh My Goethe" creative lab. The selection of participants will be made by November 8, 2019, at the latest. The actual program will begin in February 2020: The two selected Franco-German teams will each receive financial support of €10,000, free workspace at the Goethe-Institut Nancy, coaching from experts for early-stage startups, and participation in various workshops. The two teams will then present the results of their project work at the final event in July 2020.
